PUTRAJAYA, 2 Feb. - The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today launched the new and improved portal that acts as an information centre to fulfil the public's needs in obtaining information regarding this commission.

Now, the MACC portal features a complete package that is more user friendly, smart design, better informative content, systematic and also the one stop centre for the commission's social media.

Various new sections for viewers were also improved such as the sections for columnist@MACC and interesting cases that acts as a review to the MACC's current news and issues.

The portal was launched virtually by the MACC Chief Commissioner, Datuk Seri Azam Baki at MACC Headquarters, Putrajaya here, today.

The MACC Chief Commissioner, Datuk Seri Azam in his speech video said that virtual interactions have become the standard practise and function as a connecting bridge in information sharing.

"Various information can be accessed by anyone, but it should be from valid sources," he said.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Chief Commissioner (Prevention), Dato’ Sri Shamshun Baharin Mohd. Jamil also urged staffs of MACC and the public to constantly visit this portal and to make it as a platform for obtaining information regarding MACC.

"In our current new advanced world, the MACC will strive to provide the best for the public by promotly channeling the latest, accurate and valid facts from time to time. Therefore, the public need to maximise the use of the MACC portal platform as one of our official sources", said Dato' Sri Shamshun whom is also the MACC Chief Information Officer.
