JOHOR BAHRU, 12 Aug - Dato’ Haji Azmi Haji Alias, Director of MACC Johor, paid a courtesy call on the Menteri Besar of Johor, YAB Datuk Ir. Haji Hasni Mohammad, today. 

The purpose of this meeting was to strengthen relations between MACC and the Johor state government, specifically the Office of the Menteri Besar in the effort to fight corruption. 

Aspects that were given emphasis in the one-hour discussion were the misuse of government aid funds by irresponsible parties. MACC will lend assistance to the Johor state government in enhancing integrity among civil servants of Johor so that they remain committed in reducing leakages in government revenue. Also discussed were current issues happening as well as corruption prevention programmes involving the Johor state government. 

The Menteri Besar welcomes MACC's continuous initiatives in fighting corruption aggressively at the Johor state administration level.
