THE Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has confirmed that it has called former Malaysian Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Mohd. Najib Razak to assist in the investigation of SRC International Sdn. Bhd. (SRC International) case at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Academy (MACA) this evening.
He arrived at MACA at 5 pm and his statement was recorded for about 45 minutes.
Mohd. Najib will be charged at the Kuala Lumpur Court on 8 August 2018 under the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act (AMLATFPUAA) 2001.
The charges are related to the SRC International case.
The charges were made after obtained consent to prosecute from the Attorney’s General Chambers.
