The Commission’s role in performing the functions of inspection and consultancy is to offer advisory services to organisations in both public and private sector (upon request) on systems and procedures with the cardinal purpose to identify and eradicate the root causes of corruption, abuse of power and malpractice.

These including recommending amendments to rectify existing practices, systems and work procedures in ensuring them to be free from corruption, abuse of power and malpractice as stated in Section 7 (c), (d) and (e) of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Act 2009.
