Six MACC Panel Members of the Independent Oversight Bodies Received Letters of Appointment
A total of six individuals have been appointed administratively by the Prime Minister, YAB Dato 'Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob as panel members of the independent oversight bodies of the Malaysian Anti -Corruption Commission (MACC) for a period of two years.
Five of them were appointed as members of the Operations Review Panel (ORP) which is a reappointment while another as a new member of the Consultation and Corruption Prevention Panel (CCPP) to replace an independent panel member who resigned in December last year.
All the individuals appointed consist of professionals and experts from various fields to represent the community to monitor the implementation of MACC functions and operations.
The appointment period of ORP and CCPP members is effective from 1st April 2022 to 31st March 2024.
The ORP members consist of:
1. YBhg. Dato ’Ahmad Rosli Mohd Sham (Chairman)
Former Deputy Head of Division II of the Prosecution Division of the Attorney General's Chambers
2. YBhg. Dato ’Mohd Faudzi Hj Che Mamat (Member)
Former Kelantan State Secretary
3. YBhg. Dato ’Abdul Manap Dim (Member)
Former Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Compliance), Inland Revenue Board
4. YBhg. Dato ’Indera Azimah Abd Hamid (Member)
Former Deputy Director General (Enforcement and Compliance), Royal Malaysian Customs Department
5. Yang Berusaha Dr. Haji Mazlan Haji Ahmad (Member)
Former Deputy Director of Financial Intelligence and Enforcement Division, Bank Negara Malaysia.
The new member of the CCPP is:
1. YBhg. Tan Sri Mohamad Salim Fateh Din (Member)
Executive Vice Chairman, Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (MRCB)
The appointment letters of ORP and CCPP members were presented by the Chief Commissioner of MACC, YBhg. Tan Sri Dato ’Sri Haji Azam Baki at the MACC Headquarters, Putrajaya, today.
