MACC Investigates Allegations on The Integrity Of MARA Senior Officers
THE Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) views seriously the allegation on the integrity issues involving several senior officers of the Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) who are being investigated internally by the agency.
Subsequently, the MACC had received a complaint on the issue and will begin investigations on 7 February 2022 (Monday) by taking statements from several witnesses from MARA Corporation.
The investigation will be conducted under Section 23 (1) of the MACC Act 2009 which deals with offences involving officers of public bodies who use their title or position to obtain bribes.
