KLANG, 7 May – The MACC Selangor in collaboration with the Kuala Langat Land District Office has organised the Governance and Corruption Prevention in Procurement Enhancement Programme at the Seminar Room, Whydham Acmar Hotel Klang.

Attended by 30 PDT Kuala Langat officers and administrative staff, the programme began with ‘Strengthening Governance and Corruption Prevention in Government Procurement’ talk delivered by PPj Rosmadi bin Kasim. The programme continued with a briefing on Offences Under the MACC Act 2009 delivered by Ps Mohamad Izzat bin Mhd Noor emphasising on common offences among civil servants.

The objective of the programme is to enable the staff members of PDT Kuala Langat to identify the risks of corruption, abuse of power and malpractice in order to establish good governance management. Several actual cases were also unveiled as case studies before ensuing to the presentation session by the attendees
