BIOGRAPHY CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER (CIO)

Dato’ Sri Ahmad Khusairi Yahaya was born on 21 January 1967 in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and started his service with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in 1992 which was known as the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA).

His educational background was in the field of communication and public relations where he earned his first degree in the Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia while his master's degree was in Master of Corporate Communication from Oklahoma University, United States of America.

With more than 29 years of experience with the MACC, Dato’ Sri Ahmad Khusairi has been involved in various roles in the Commission especially in the areas of Corporate Communications; Security; Policy, Planning and Research; Intelligence and Investigation.

He has served with MACC Branches, Divisions and States, including the MACC Kedah, MACC Kuala Lumpur and the MACC Headquarters. Among the important positions he has held were the Head of Corporate Communications Unit, Director of Policy, Planning and Research Division, Director of MACC Kuala Lumpur, Director of Intelligence Division, Senior Director of Investigation Division and now as the Deputy Chief Commissioner (Operations) of MACC.
