Kedah Regional Development Authority (KEDA) Instills Integrity Among Its Workforce through IBR

ALOR SETAR, 16 May  The Kedah Regional Development Authority (KEDA) answers MACC's call by organising an Anti-corruption Talk and Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR) ceremony to show support towards MACC's effort in eradicating corruption and cultivating integrity among its workforce. This ceremony was held at the KEDA Headquarters Complex, Kedah today.

The IBR ceremony was led by Tuan Haji Kamarudin Abd Akib, General Manager of KEDA and witnessed by Dato’ Shaharom Nizam Abd Manap, Director of Kedah MACC. The ceremony was also held online to include employees at the Entrepreneur Development Division Office, KEDA College and Zone Development Offices.

Tuan Haji Kamarudin Abd Akib stated that the IBR ceremony is a preventive measure for its workforce to avoid getting involved in corruption. He also explained several initiatives that are have been implemented by the management, such as the launch of the KEDA Code of Ethics and Conduct Book, No-gift Policy and Integrity Pen Campaign, as well as several other activities to ensure that all its employees practise transparency and integrity as civil servants.
