KUALA NERANG, 24 Apr — Kedah MACC approached and visit the community by presenting donations to the needy at Masjid Sementara Kariah Pekan Kuala Nerang to celebrate the coming Syawal.

30 asnaf received donations in the form of basic necessities donated by Hasani Sdn Bhd, IRdeco Sdn Bhd and TNB Bhd. The donations were presented by Dato' Shaharom Nizam Abd Manap, Director of Kedah MACC together with Mr. Ahmad Irwan Ariffin, CEO of IRDECO and Ms. Hindun Saad from TNB Kuala Nerang as well as Tuan Haji Syed Hamzah Syed Omar as the Imam of the Masjid.

This programme indirectly evoked a feeling of repentance and awareness to officers to continue fighting corruption to ensure that the rights of the people are preserved and protected from selfish, corrupt people. Kedah MACC hopes that this type of programme can enhance public confidence and support in channeling quality information and delivering anti-corruption messages by distributing pamphlets included with the donations.
