MACC Needs The Support Of Malaysian Family To Fight Corruption

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) needs the support of Malaysian Family (Keluarga Malaysia) to keep fighting corruption in the country.

The MACC Chief Commissioner, Tan Sri Dato' Sri Haji Azam Baki said the involvement of all parties in the Malaysian Family such as students, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), heads of departments, political leaders, media partners and others are very important to educate and spread the message of anti-corruption effectively.

“The proactive cooperation of this collaboration can help the MACC in its efforts to reduce leakages in the country.

“Not only must we reject corruption, the MACC also calls on all Malaysian Families to be the eyes and ears of the government and report corruption immediately," he said.

He said this at the International Anti-Corruption Day (HARA 2021) celebration at the Sabah State level with the theme "Your Right, Your Role: Say No to Corruption" here today.

The opening ceremony of the HARA 2021 celebration was officiated by the Chief Minister of Sabah, Dato’ Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor.
