The MACC 2021 Innovation & Psychology Webinar Closing Ceremony

PUTRAJAYA, 6 Oct. - The Closing Ceremony for the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) 2021 Innovation and Psychology Webinar was held virtually today.

The webinar, which included 13 speakers, starting from 4 - 6 October 2021 was organised to commemorate the 54th ACA/ MACC Anniversary Celebration.

MACC Chief Commissioner Datuk Seri Azam Baki, in his closing speech said that this webinar emphasised the aspects of value empowerment, human capital, psychological well-being and innovation development among staff of the MACC based on identified targeted groups.

"I am pleased with the efforts to host this program because to achieve the MACC’s mission and vision, we need to uphold the core values of the MACC which are firm, discipline, cooperation, loyalty, commitment and professionalism.

"The implementation of these values is very important in order for all staff to always practice the organisation’s values in their duties as officers and staff of MACC; furthermore, we are also role models to all civil servants who are in service”.

He added that we are the pillars for the success of the government's mission to develop shared prosperity in Malaysia's large family.

During the closing ceremony, the winners of the MACC Innovation Competition were also announced. A total of 12 groups competed to represent MACC Divisions and State Offices in the competition organised by the Excellence and Professionalism Division (BCP).

Team D'ingenious from the MACC Security Division won first place by introducing an innovation for the security door system and brought home a cash prize of RM5,000 and participation certificates.

Meanwhile, Team PenMas Pride from the MACC Community Education Division (PenMas) won second place, bringing home a cash prize of RM3,000 and participation certificates. The third place was won by Team Victory from the Federal Territory of Labuan MACC Office who brought home a cash prize of RM2,000 and participation certificates.

The awards were presented by the MACC Deputy Chief Commissioner (Operations), Dato' Sri Ahmad Khusairi Yahaya.

In attendance were the MACC Deputy Chief Commissioner (Prevention), Datuk Seri Norazlan Mohd Razali; Director of MACC Excellence and Professionalism Division (BCP), KPKPj Ismajuri Ismail and Director of MACC Management Service Division (BKP), Mohammad Shahizan Abdullah.
