CeIO Programme Cultivates A Culture Of Excellence

Putrajaya, 28 Sept. - The Certified Integrity Officer Programme (CeIO) is a platform to form a culture of excellence in carrying out daily tasks.

The Deputy Chief Commissioner (Management and Professionalism) of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), Dato’ Junipah Wandi said that the existence of the CeIO programme will strengthen the integrity of the organisation in a systematic way.

“The CeIO is a leader and the agent of change to create an excellent work culture that rejects corruption holistically.

"This programme is an important element in the formation of the CeIO's character, ethics, image and identity of integrity," he said.

According to her, the CeIO acts to assist the organisation in implementing efforts to prevent corruption and malpractice.

She said that during the Closing Ceremony of the Certified Integrity Officer Programme themed "Post Pandemic: Preserving Integrity" organised by the Malaysian Anti -Corruption Academy (MACA) in collaboration with the Integrity Unit of the Malacca State Secretary, Series 28 No 3/2021 which was held virtually.

In the meeting, a total of 39 participants, consisting of officers from various agencies of the Malacca State Government successfully completed the course and attended the Integrity Sustainability Seminar.

It is hoped that they would become potential department integrity officers who can monitor and organise activities related to integrity and anti-corruption matters in their respective departments.

Also present, the Chief Minister of Malacca, Datuk Seri Utama (Dr.) Haji Sulaiman Md Ali; Malacca State Secretary, YB Dato' Ts. Kamel Mohamad and the Director of MACA, Dato’ Haji Idris Zaharudin.
