
UKM Launched The PTI 2021-2025 Enhancing Workforce Integrity
Putrajaya, 14 Jul. - The Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) has launched the Integrity Action Plan (PTI) UKM 2021-2025 as an effort to develop the Organisation Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP) at the institutional level.
This is the first public university that has formed the OACP focusing on enhancing the integrity of their members while performing their tasks.
The virtual launching ceremony was officiated by the Chief Commissioner of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, Datuk Seri Azam Baki here, today.
Datuk Seri Azam Baki said in his speech the MACC has always supported the commitment from UKM to inculcate the values of integrity, strengthen governance and implement efforts to prevent corruption, abuse of power and breach of integrity in UKM.
"PTI UKM 2021-2025 will be an integrity policy document at the UKM level that aims to improve governance, integrity and anti-corruption weaknesses in UKM.
"This plan will drive and propel UKM to move forward to be the best example of governance to other public universities,” he said.
He added that this action can enhance and maintain the image and good name of UKM as a world-class institution and statutory body that practices high values of integrity and anti-corruption.
Also present, the Chairman of the Board of UKM, Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Abdul Wahid Omar and the Vice Chancellor of UKM, Prof. Dato’ Ts. Dr. Mohd Ekhwan Hj Toriman.
