MACC Officers Need To Instill Teamwork Spirit

Putrajaya, 2 June – The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officers must bolster their inner strength and integrity among themselves, be versatile and practice teamwork so that all tasks given can be carried out with excellence and responsibility.

The MACC Chief Commissioner, Datuk Seri Azam Baki said, MACC officers need to always be proactive in combating corruption so that this crime can be eliminated and at the same time gives the agency a good image.

“Proactive implementation of investigations is more effective, and it will be able to boost public confidence towards the MACC compared to the reactive investigations,” he said.

He added, the MACC officers also need to constantly gain as much experience as possible to build their inner strength and abilities.

He said this while delivering his messages to the 54 new cadet officers Series 25 No. 1/2021 virtually, in compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of MCO 3.0 Phase 1.

There were also 52 MACC in-service officers and six contract officers appointed to be Permanent Officers who attended this session.

Also present was the Director of Malaysian Anti-Corruption Academy (MACA), Dato’ Idris Zaharudin.
