JAKIM Launches OACP to Prevent Corruption among the staff
PUTRAJAYA, 3 May - The Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) today has launched the Organisation Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP) 2021-2025 which focuses on increasing the accountability and credibility among the department staff.
The launching ceremony was officiated here by the Minister of the Prime Minister Office (Religious Affairs), Datuk Seri Dr Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri.
Datuk Seri Dr Zulkifli said that this initiative is an important step in enhancing governance, integrity, and anti-corruption.
“OACP is a complete and comprehensive planning framework developed in line with the formulation of the National Anti-Corruption Plan (NACP). This plan is a key document that displays the commitment of all civil servants to eliminate corrupt practices and misconduct of integrity in the department.
“The integrity element must be obtained in governance system and must be adhered to at all times by all staff,” he said in his speech.
He also added that JAKIM is always ready to be front liners in showing good example, upholding the nature of trust, transparency and the value of integrity in all matters and actions.
Also present, the Chief Commissioner of Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, Datuk Seri Azam Baki ; Director-General of JAKIM, Datuk Abdul Aziz Jusoh and the Director of Integrity & Performance Management Division, KPKPj Nurahim Abd Rahim.
