MACC Received Courtesy Visit By UUM

Putrajaya, 23 Apr- The Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Innovation) of Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Prof Dr Haim Hilman Abdullah has paid a courtesy visit to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Chief Commissioner, Datuk Seri Azam Baki today at the MACC Headquarters.

Various issues were discussed in the meeting, including the cooperation between UUM and MACC in terms of the development of modules to build the Malaysian society with high integrity and hates corruption.

Besides that, UUM also intends to conduct a study on corruption, embezzlement and abuse of power where the results of the study can be used as a medium in improving public sector services in the future, especially in efforts to combat corruption.

The one-hour meeting is also a platform for both parties to shares and widespread good practices in their respective organisations especially involving integrity.

Also in attendance, the Director of Asian Research Institute for Corporate Governance (ARICG) UUM, Prof Dr Kamarun Nisham Taufil Mohd; Senior Lecturer of the School of Applied Psychology, Social Work and Policy UUM, Dr Norruzeyati Che Mohd Nasir and the Director of Community Education MACC, Datuk Razim Mohd Noor.
