MACC Chief Commissioner Courtesy Visit To The Secretary General Of KBS
Putrajaya, 19 Apr. – The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), Datuk Seri Azam Baki paid a courtesy visit to the Secretary General (KSU), Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS), Datuk M Noor Azman Taib here, today.
The purpose of this courtesy visit is to discuss the temporary replacement of officers from the National Department of Youth and Sports (JBSN) at MACC in order to assist in planning and coordinating programs involving youths and athlete target groups.
During the visit, a discussion was held about corruption risk levels at JBSN which was categorised as high risk by the MACC.
Meanwhile, this visit is a proactive move in order to discuss the suggestion to establish an integrity unit at JBSN, a joint collaborative program between KBS and MACC, 2021-2025 OACP Launch Event and MACC’s recommendation involving the staffs of KBS’s education at the root level involving governance, integrity and anti-corruption.
This visit also discussed preventative measures in avoiding leakages and cooperating with MACC to report activities of corruption, misappropriation and abuse of power.
Datuk Seri Azam was also brought to visit the aspiration wall for the National Sports Vision (VSN) 2030 and gave his opinion and aspiration towards the implementation of VSN2030.
Also present were Director-General of JBSN, Dato' Dr Hjh Wasitah H Mohd Yusof; Director of MACC Community Education Division (PenMas), Datuk Razim Mohd Noor and Director of MACC Agency Integrity Management Division (BPIA), KPKP Nurahim Ab Rahim.
