MACC Chief Commissioner was chaired the first integrity officer accreditation board (LPPIB) meeting in 2021

Putrajaya, 14 Apr – A total of 331 participants of Certified Integrity Officer Program (CeIO) from 9 series for Public, Private, GLC and Executive sectors for Year 2019 and 2020 had successfully certified in the Integrity Officer Accreditation Board (LPPIB) Meeting on last 12 April.

This LPPIB Meeting Series 18 No.1/2021 has chaired by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption (MACC) Chief Commissioner, Datuk Seri Azam Baki as the LPPIB Chairman.

Datuk Seri Azam Baki at the same time also mentioned that the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Academy (MACA) has successfully operated these programs one hundred percent online which are for Series 26 No.1/2021 Public Sector CeIO Program and Series 3 No.1/2021 GLC CeIO Program for 2021.

“Despite the 2020 challenges we face to run a program due to the Covid-19 pandemic, MACA has been able to successfully implement CeIO courses in accordance with the new norm method,” he said.

Datuk Seri Azam and members of LPPIB also hope that all CeIOs can carry out their duties efficiently and professionally and be able to actively participate in the CeIO Officers Association (ACeIO).

He also called on CeIOs who have not yet submitted reports of integrity activities in their respective agencies to do so soon for the purpose of extending the CeIO Accreditation.

Also present were, Director-General of Public Service (KPPA), Tan Sri Mohd Khairul Adib; Chief Executive Officer of Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM), Nor Azimah Abdul Aziz; Ethics Arbitrator, Malaysia Direct Distribution Association (MDDA), Dr. Zainal Abidin Abdul Majeed; MACC Deputy Chief Commissioner (Management and Professionalism), Dato’ Junipah Wandi; Director of MACA, Dato’ Haji Idris Zaharudin and the Director of Integrity & Performance Management Division, KPKPj Nurahim Abd Rahim.
