MACA LAUNCHES ‘IHYA RAMADHAN’ PROGRAMME TO WELCOME THE BLESSED MONTH OF RAMADHAN
1 April, Kuala Lumpur – The Malaysia Anti-Corruption Academy (MACA) launched its “Ihya Ramadhan” Programme to welcome the holy month of Ramadhan today.
“My message to the MACA community and cadets from the MACC Basic Training Programme, is to always hold fast to four main principles to succeed in your careers and life; follow and practice our religious teachings, always maintain our integrity, practice proper time management and finances”, said the Director of MACA, YBhg. Dato’ Hj. Idris bin Zaharudin in his opening speech.
Earlier, guest speaker, Al-Fadhil Ustaz Mohamad Afandi bin Che Harun, Senior Assistant Director for Al-Turath and Islamic Civilisation Cluster, Islamic Training Institute, Bangi, had given a talk entitled “Marhaban Ya Ramadhan”. He shared that as humans, we often neglect and forget our duties. He added that the holy month allows us to control our nafs so that we can focus on fulfilling our responsibilities and integrity apart from training ourselves to be patient in struggles of this world and the hereafter.
Another agenda of the event was the giving of “Sharing of Rezqi” bags, comprising of basic necessities contributed by MACC Chief Commissioner, Datuk Seri Azam bin Baki, to MACA staff (Grade 19 and below). The MACA Director, graciously handed-over the contributions to all recipients on his behalf. Also in attendance at the function, was Head of Basic Training Centre, A/SAC Shuhaimi bin Man as well as other Heads of Divisions, Centres, and Schools.
