MELAKA, 19 Mar – The State of Melaka becomes the first state to launch the 'Legislation Catalogue' in cooperation with the Melaka Legal Advisor's Office and Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC).

This catalogue is in line with the objective to enhance integrity by cultivating transparency and reducing bureaucracy involving laws that are no longer relevant and could lead to corruption.

On this occasion, the Melaka Legal Advisor's Office also expressed their support towards corruption prevention policies in the legal system by signing the Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR).

The launching ceremony was officiated by YAB Datuk Seri Utama Haji Sulaiman Md Ali, Chief Minister of Melaka and also attended by YB Datuk Seri Dr. Hasim Hasan, Secretary to the Melaka State Government; YBhg. Dato' Abdul Latif Hj Abu Seman, Director-General of MPC and SAC Awangkok Ahmad Taufik Putra Awang Ismail, Director of MACC Melaka.
