An Event to Celebrate the Unsung Heros of the MACC
PUTRAJAYA, 5 MARCH - THE Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has conducted a program titled 'Seindah Budi Bertaut Kasih' with the Chief Commissioner which focuses on the agency’s drivers and security assistants today.
The Chief Commissioner of MACC Datuk Seri Azam Baki said, he was excited to attend the program despite being quite busy with work constraints.
"This program is organized as a sign of appreciation to all of you who have served in this agency since it was the Anti -Corruption Agency (ACA) until now where it turned into MACC".
"All of you play much important roles as front liners and also act as an agent to the image of the MACC".
“I would like emphasize that a good image needs to be maintained and it should not be compromised as it reflects your own image and contributes to the image of the department as well,” he said.
While sharing his experience Datuk Seri Azam said, about 36 years ago when he began his service at the ACA he was first greeted and welcomed by the support group staff before being brought to meet the senior officers.
Meanwhile, Datuk Seri Azam also expressed his determination to care about the issue of employee welfare and he also stressed to best meet the needs that are conducive to the staffs.
Also present was PKPj Kamarudin M Ripin, Director of the MACC's Strategic Communication Division as well as the Head of Program Organising Committee.
