MELAKA, 15 Feb – MACC Melaka in collaboration with the Anti-Corruption Students Force (AMAR) Kolej Universiti Islam Melaka (KUIM) and Village Community Management Council (MPKK) Pengkalan Balak successfully organised a community service programme with the Pengkalan Balak community.

The objective of the programme was to strengthen ties between MACC Melaka and the local community, in addition to disseminating anti-corruption messages through the programme with AMAR KUIM.

On this occasion, the Pengkalan Balak community took the opportunity to learn more about the MACC while reducing the communication gap and negative perception on MACC regarding its scope of work and role in eradicating corruption.

This programme was also a "self-organised" programme by students of AMAR KUIM which aimed to cultivate leadership skills and volunteering spirit in students as preparation upon entering the working world.
