PUTRAJAYA, 5 Mar – In the fight to eradicate corruption from the grassroots, MACC, represented by Dep. Com. Tuan Ruslan Tuan Mat, Director of the Community Education Division, presented five initiatives in the effort to instill integrity and anti-corruption element in the education sector to the National Education Policy Review Committee today. 

The initiatives are based on instilling integrity through education, by expanding the 'Integrity and Corruption' subject to all higher education institutes, as well as the addition of anti-corruption element in the civil education subject in schools. 

MACC also proposes to establish an Integrity Shop/Kiosk, a concept of unmanned shop to build integrity practically. 

The proposal was presented to the Chairman of the Committee, Prof. Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Ibrahim Ahmad Bajunid in the review of the national education policy that will be presented to the Minister of Education. 

MACC aspires for anti-corruption and integrity education to be included in the curriculum for all levels of education towards building a generation free from corruption.
