Sungai Udang, March 12-15 - Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) with Malaysian Anti-Corruption Academy (MACA) Melaka in collaboration with Melaka State Government organized MACC Citizenization Programme (Foster Family Programme, MACC Officer Basic Course Series 15 No 1/2014 in DUN Sungai Udang) from 12th to 15th March 2015.

The programme involved 41 trainees made up of MACC cadet officers Series 15 No 1/2014. Those who began basic training on last April 1st 2014 were expected to finish the Officer Basic Course on March 26th, 2015.
The objective of the program was to increase community confidence and awareness in the efforts of propagating MACC as well as to provide understanding to society in empowering MACC career. This Foster Family Programme was held for the third time.

Various activities were carried out throughout the programme. Among the main programmes conducted was Foster Family Programme, organized by Malaysian Anti-Corruption Academy (MACA), where trainees were handed over to their respective foster families in Taman Peruna Sg Udang Melaka on March 12, 2015. During the four days, they had taken part in ‘gotong-royong’ activities, games, sports as well as Harvest of Love programme with Taman Peruna residents.

Meanwhile, Integrity Talk was held at Madrasah Al-Hidayah, Taman Peruna Sg Udang on March 13, 2015. This programme featured MACC Deputy Commissioner (Management and Professionalism), Dato Haji Zakaria Haji Jaffar and Mejar (B) Ustaz Dzulkarnain Hamzah as panelists. Approximately 200 residents from Taman Peruna and surrounding areas attended this programme. Also present were Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation YB Dr Abu Bakar Mohamed Diah and Melaka State Financial Officer Haji Mohd Zain Mansor, who represented Chief Minister of Melaka.

Career workshop was held on March 14, 2015 at Japerun Complex Sg Udang. The programme was organized by MACC HQ Community Education Division. Among the contents of the of this Career Workshop were GST Briefing by Melaka State Customs Department representatives and motivational talks delivered by Senior Superintendent Celemans Bin Haji Kasim.

On the last day, Anti-Corruption Forum was held at Japerun Complex Sg Udang. Panelists for this forum were MACC Deputy Commissioner (Management and Professionalism), Dato Haji Zakaria Bin Haji Jaffar and YB Senator Zali Md Yassin. The attendees were Sg Udang community, members of Anti-Corruption Secretariat-IPT and youths in Melaka.

The closing ceremony was officiated by the Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Minister YB Dr Abu Bakar Mohamed Diah. Also held at the closing session was Integrity Pledge Reading, led by Mr. Mohd Faizal Bin Kamaruddin, UMNO Youth Chief, Anak Ayer Branch.
