Putrajaya, March 31 - MACC received 44 students from Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) MIMET Campus in Lumut, Perak, where they had an academic visit to MACC headquarters this morning.
A group photo session was held in MACC lobby once the participants’ entourage arrived around 8.30 am. The participants then visited Lock-up and Identification Parade room.
Then the participants visited MACC gallery before joining Anti-Corruption briefing at Community Education Division Theatre Hall.
A short briefing regarding Anti-Corruption Secretariat (SPR) and MACC was presented by YBhg. Dato’ Shamshun Baharin Bin Mohd Jamil, Director of Community Education Division. The event was followed by a talk entitled ‘Introduction to MACC, Corruption and Prevention’, delivered by SASupt. Mohd Nazri bin Haji Ismail.
In his talk, he also explained MACC function and roles besides touching on corruption offences as stipulated in the MACC Act 2009. A question and answer session was held at the end of the briefing.
Meanwhile in the afternoon, 48 students from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Skudai, Johor had an academic visit to MACC headquarters.
The participants’ arrival was welcomed by Community Education Division officers at 3.00 pm and a group photo session was held in the MACC lobby. The participants then visited Lock-up and Identification Parade room.
Then, a talk session in the evening was delivered by Assistant Commissioner Samsul Bin Haji Salip entitled ‘Introduction to MACC’. The second talk was presented by Assistant Commissioner Siti Zakiah Binti Che Man. The participants were later exposed to career-related information in MACC besides explanation on Anti-Corruption Secretariat (SPR).
