Klang, July 6 - As a continuity to the Launch of Anti -Corruption Hero (WAR) Campaign at Chinese National Type Primary School (SJKC) Min Chuen, Klang in early April of this year, Community Education Division through the Education Branch proceeded its effort by holdng an Appointment Ceremony of Chief of Anti-Corruption Hero (WAR) at this school.
The meaningful event was attended by Headmaster of SJKC Min Chuen, Mrs. Lee Siew Kiat, PTA Chairman Mr Teh Tech Hai, representative from Chairman of the School Management Board, teachers and 342 students, from Standard 4 to Standard 6.
During the ceremony, Superintendent Lim Gim Shin delivered a briefing on role and responsibility to be shouldered by the Chiefs of WAR selected. Among their role is to portray a good example to other students and facilitate the school in establishing anti-corruption programmes.
In addition, there was a quiz conducted to the students. Through the quiz carried out, it was found out that the students can recall and comprehend general messages such as the MACC function properly.
As a symbolic to the appointment of Chief Anti -Corruption Hero, the nine pupils who had been appointed were sheathed with a tie by Head of Education Branch, MACC Community Education Division, Assistant Commissioner Maznah Binti Che Muda.
