Putrajaya, Oct 5 – MACC organized Luncheon Talk with Association of Islamic Banking Institutions Malaysia (AIBIM), held in Multi-Purpose Hall, Level B2, Complex D, Putrajaya.
This event aimed to forge bilateral relationship between MACC and islamic banking sector in Malaysia in the effort to combat corruption.
Besides, this programme was a platform to exchange ideas and information between MACC and AIBIM particularly with regards to procurement system and financial management.
44 AIBIM members, who are the top management in their respective bank attended this programme. Also present was AIBIM President, Dato’ Mohd Redza Shah Abdul Wahid, Directors of Divisions in MACC and MACC senior officers.
AIBIM consists of 22 banks, encompassing local and overseas banks such as Al-Rajhi Banking & Investment, Affin Islamic Bank, Public Islamic Bank Berhad, Bank Muamalat Indonesi, OCBC Al-Amin and Bank of Tokyomitsubishi.
MACC Deputy Chief Commissioner (Prevention), YBhg. Datuk Mustafar Bin Haji Ali delivered a talk entitled “Enhancing Integrity in Financial Institutions : Enhancing Compliance and Combating Corruption”.
The participants were brought to MACC Gallery. They also visited MACC Lockup, Identification Parade Room and Video Interviewing Room VIR). A briefing was delivered by MACC officers from Investigation Division and Security Division regarding investigating procedures and the functions of those rooms.
The session ended with a photo session and hand over of souvenirs as momento.
