WE refer to the latest Corruption Perception Index(CPI), in which Malaysia has improved its ranking to 10 ladders up. This is very encouraging indeed and Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is pleased that our country is moving towards the right direction.

MACC is committed to continue its efforts to rid this country of corruption by taking pro-active steps especially in the aspects of preventiom and deterrance.
We have in fact started on innovative ways to deal with this.

We will continue to strive for greater transparency, more participation from all stakeholders and a stronger mechanism towards managing whistleblowers’s
protection.

We are also pushing for all the various levels of government administrative bodies to step up its integrity and governance unit.
