Johor Former Exco Corruption Case: Macc Will Appeal To High Court  

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) will file an appeal to the High Court as a result of discussions with the Deputy Public Prosecutor, following the decision by the Johor Bahru Session Court to dismiss and acquitted of  the former Johor Exco Datuk Abd Latif Bandi  and two other individuals without calling their defence for the 37 bribery charges as well as a Anti Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism and Anti-Terrorism Financing Prevention (AMLA) over RM30 million.

 As determined by the court, the action will be taken within 14 days.
