KUALA LUMPUR, 7 August – UDA Holdings staff including its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer attended a Corporate Liability and Anti-Corruption Law Briefing that was conducted by MACC Inspection and Consultancy Division (BPMP) Officer PKPj Siti Zakiah Che Man.
The event was held at UDA Holdings Berhad Multi Purpose Hall on 5 August in conjunction with the ‘MS ISO 37001: 2016 ABMS Programme’ organised by UDA Holdings Berhad.
Objectives, offences, penalty, defence under Section 17(A) as well as Guidelines on Adequate Procedures (Trust Principles) and a summary of the Skansen Case were part and parcel of the Briefing.
During the Question-And-Answer session, issues such as the retrospective effect of the new Law, application of 17(A), declaration of assets and interests, job rotation, corruption issues involving local authorities (PBT), false claims, selective prosecution and the 1MDB case were discussed.
