PUTRAJAYA, 23 MAY- Surau Safinatun Najah hosted approximately 200 officers and staff of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today with the breakfasting at its premise at the MACC Headquarters.
A joint effort with the Excellence & Professionalism Division, Certified Integrity Officer Association and the MACC Puspanita, it was held to further foster the relationship among the officers and staff of MACC in the spiritual splendor of Ramadan.
Prior to the breakfasting, the khatam Al-Quran session, ‘tahlil’ as well as the recitation of the ‘du’a’ were also conducted as part of the program. Despite the busy working schedules, MACC staff members also managed to conduct Al-Quran tadarus from the first day of Ramadan.
A total of 32 participants received a token of appreciation from the Deputy Chief Commissioner (Prevention), MACC, Dato’ Shamshun Baharin Mohd. Jamil and the Vice Chairman I, of MACC Puspanita, Datin Seri Normah Mohd. Zin.
The MACC Chief Commissioner, Dato’ Sri Mohd. Shukri Abdull also performed the Maghrib and Isyak prayers as well as the tarawih prayer with the officers and staff of MACC.
Also in attendance were Deputy Chief Commissioner (Management & Professionalism), Dato' Ja’afar Mahad; Chairman of Surau Safinatun Najah, Chief SAC Mohamad Zakkuan Talib; divisional directors of MACC, the committee members of the surau and MACC Puspanita as well as the pensioners of the Anti-Corruption Agency.
