MELAKA, 19 September – The KEJAR 2017 Convoy continues their journey across the Peninsular in a bid to gain support from local communities in Melaka with an aerobic exercise to begin the day.
The second day of KEJAR also witnessed the presentation of the People of Melaka’s Pledge to Fight Corruption by the Chief Minister of Melaka, YAB Datuk Seri Ir. Haji Idris Haji Haron to the Chief Commissioner of MACC, Tan Sri Dzulkifli Ahmad, in the presence of the TYT Yang Dipertua Negeri Melaka, Tun Datuk Seri Utama Mohd Khalil Yaakob and state government Excos.
In addition to community activities like colouring competition, blood donation campaign and anti-corruption quiz, the program, co-organised by the Melaka Tourism Promotion Division, also saw MACC officers, including the top guns, explore the Historical City on the trishaw and river cruise.
In the afternoon, the convoy took off to Johor, escorted by the JPJ Superbike Club and Taxi Drivers Association Johor Bahru. The second day of KEJAR ended with a friendly football match between MACC and a team handpicked by the Crown Prince of Johor.
