JOHOR BAHRU, 22 September – Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad Johor took the initiative of signing the Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR) with MACC today.
Zainal Pattate, Head of the Bank Islam Southern Region, the IBR ceremony is important to every organisation in ensuring that each individual is clear regarding issues of integrity and takes matters seriously when integrity is violated.
The pledge reading ceremony was led by Ahmad Badruddin Hassan, Consumer Business Manager of Bank Islam Southern Region and witnessed by SAC Zuber Zainal, Deputy Director of MACC Johor.
The participation of about 130 staff members from among Branch Managers and Head of Units from Bank Islam across Johor is a manifestation of their commitment and support towards eradicating corruption from the country.
Also held was a corruption prevention talk delivered by AC Koo Lik Chi, Head of the MACC Johor Community Education Unit.
