TENOM, 12 May - About 150 officers, staff and subsidiaries of Sabah Rubber Industry Boar from three districts of Tenom, Keningau and Sipitang signed the Corruption-Free Pledge here today.
The Chairman of LIGS, Datuk Rubin Balang said that it was a measure towards becoming a clean and corruption-free agency.
“As a commercial agency and as a response to the government’s call to eradicate poverty within small rubber planters, it is imperative for the staff to have integrity in delivering efficient service.
“This includes combating corruption and abuse of power, serving small planters with courtesy, treating them with care and concern, expediting the decision-making process as well as practising an efficient and effective administration”, Datuk Rubin said in his speech.
Also held during this event was an Integrity Talk by AC Aini Ag Muda.
