SEPANG, 4 May – The Local Authorities in Selangor are actively undertaking the Corruption-Free Pledge as a manifestation of their support to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in the fight against corruption in the country.
About 120 officers and staff members from the Sepang Land District Office (PDT) signed and pledged to the Corruption-Free Pledge in a ceremony held at the Main Seminar Office, PDT Sepang today.
The pledging ceremony was led by the District Officer of Sepang, Madam Roslinah Md Jani and witnessed by the Director of MACC Selangor, Dato’ Wan Ramli Wan Abdullah.
In his speech, Dato’ Wan Ramli reminded the staff of PDT Sepang to always carry out their duties with integrity and honesty.
He also expressed his hope for continuous support from PDT Sepang and the local authorities in Selangor to continuously lend their strength to combat corruption and make it the nation’s number one enemy.
PDT Sepang is the fifth local authority in Selangor to sign the Corruption-Free Pledge.
