SEREMBAN, 8 March - The Negeri Sembilan State Govenment signs the Corruption-Free Pledge introduced by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to carry out entrusted duties with integrity, sincerity and transparency.
The signing ceremony held at Wisma Negeri Seremban was led by the Menteri Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Datuk Seri Utama Mohamad Hassan, followed by nine Excos and three ex-officios.
This initiative reflects the State Government’s commitment to ensure an administration free from any form of corruption and abuse of power.
MACC hopes that this initiative will hinder involvements in corruption or abuse of power within the state administration, from the lowest to the highest levels.
The Negeri Sembilan State Government is the third state government to sign this pledge, coming in after Sarawak and Kedah earlier this year.
